"What truly sets me apart from other photographers, I think, is the fact that I love getting to know every client on a personal level. I want to hear your stories, what makes you happy, what scares you – as a model or as a human being! As a psychology major who dreams of becoming a licensed therapist one day, I always want to emphasize that our photo set is a safe space for you to be yourself." - Voyage LA, 2019
hello!
Thank you so much for visiting my website!
My name is Sam, and I'm so grateful you're here. Portrait photography has been my greatest joy since I was in middle school, and my love for it has only continued to blossom over the past decade. After more than 320 photo shoots and working with hundreds of clients, my hope is to continue taking photos for the rest of my life! My ultimate goal is to help every client walk away with photos that feel glowing, vibrant, and truly like themselves.
I was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, which introduced me to the wonderful world of film and photography. In 2020, my husband Spencer and I moved to Chicago, IL, for my graduate schooling at Northwestern. The five years we spent there were filled with an unbelievable amount of joy, friendship, and delicious food. At the end of 2025, we packed our bags and returned home to LA (and the South Bay!) to be closer to family. Fun fact: I'm a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist... photography just happens to be my second profession and greatest passion!
Throughout your photo shoot, I want you to feel comfortable and confident as a model and client. The most important component of our experience is your creative vision, which will be designed around your personal style and fashion preferences. I will always work incredibly hard to ensure that your photo experience is professional, enjoyable, and incredibly empowering.
I'm so excited to meet you and am thrilled to be a part of your story! Let's bring your shoot vision to life.
Warmest wishes,
Sam
