My name is Sam and I'm so grateful you're here. Portrait photography has been my greatest passion since I was eight years old, and I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to capture these special memories with you.  Over the past five years, I've completed more than 150 photo shoots (and hope to continue taking photos for the rest of my life!).

 

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, which introduced me to the wonderful world of film and a whole bunch of sunshine! In May 2020, I graduated from the University of Southern California (Fight On!) with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Forensics & Criminality and Individuals, Societies, & Aging. While I spent a lot of time running around campus taking portraits, I was also a Tour Guide with the USC Admission Center and the Co-Founder of Glamour Gals at USC (a service organization where we provided complimentary beauty makeovers to men and women in senior homes!). I also enjoyed my role as a Research Assistant in the Child Interviewing Lab on campus.

In September 2020, my boyfriend Spencer and I said goodbye to our Southern California homes and moved to the beautiful city of Chicago! I loved my time as a graduate student at Northwestern University in their Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program and graduated with the class of 2022. For the foreseeable future, I will be in the Chicago area working as an associate clinician and taking photos as often as I can.

 

Throughout your photo shoot, I want you to feel comfortable and confident as a model and client. The most important component of our experience is your creative vision, which will be designed around your personal style and fashion preferences. I will always work incredibly hard to ensure that your photo experience is professional, enjoyable, and incredibly empowering.
